Dec 5 Small Hex A small hex for dates on Apiary Magazine's website.

by Steven Burns

How many fantastic literary events can you fit in one December? The answer: so many stinkin' events. Can someone invent a cloning machine so I can attend every single one of these, please? From Eve Ewing to Ntozake Shange, launch parties for bedfellows issue 7 and Empty Set Press' Dictionnaire Infernal, an incredible fundraiser for Puerto Rico, and more, December is the month of giving that, well, keeps on giving. Listen to poems. Support your local writers and indie presses. Watch literature change the world and feel a little better for it. XO, Steve.

Eve L Ewing, Electric Arches
w/ Amber Rose Johnson and Kai Davis
6pm @ Penn Book Center

Philly’s poetry community is coming together to raise funds for hurricane relief in Puerto Rico.
