You're invited to celebrate the first night of open submissions for Apiary Magazine's TENTH ANNIVERSARY issue! APIARY X is the culmination of a decade of writing, reading, publishing, dancing, and living in a changing, shifting literary city. In X, we want you to mark your spot on Philly's ever-changing map, and excavate the stories hiding underneath your feet. This Fall, we're asking our submitters to take stock of their place in a city's complicated, collective memory: How do generations collide and connect in your life, in your home, in your neighborhood? What is worth remembering, and how can those memories help us move forward?

Submissions for Apiary X open the night of BEER & HONEY on SEPT 15, and run through December 2018. This issue is momentous in our magazine's history, and we wanna go BIG to honor it -- but we need your help to do it justice.

The fine folks at Pentridge Station are donating a portion of the bar to Apiary and our featured artists, so if you imbibe, you'll help us thrive. You can also contribute on our fancy new donations page, or share the gift of your writing with us when submissions go live at our submissions page. We can't wait to see you, hear you, and celebrate with you.

APIARY X is supported by The Velocity Fund and the Philadelphia Cultural Fund.
